Helping Mom
I know it's been awhile but we have been so busy. Here are some cute pictures of Lucas helping Momma clip coupons! As you can tell...he hates the camera!

Starting to crawl
This morning Lucas got up early and we came downstairs to play a little. While he was laying down on his mats he lifted his knees and his arms up at the same time to start to crawl! I was so excited and I think I scared him a little. He did it again for me and this time I was ready and videotaped it. My little boy is growing too fast!!

Visit with Jack
Saturday Danielle and Jack were at my parents house so Lucas and I went over to visit. Lucas isn't used to sharing Gramma and Papa with anyone else (even Dylan and Trystan) so he wasn't too impressed with Jack. Jack was being such a good boy and sharing with Lucas and giving him hugs and kisses but Lucas didn't know what to do with this little person in his face...so he cried. I tried to ignore it but he was making Jack feel bad. So Lucas is looking for play dates with other kids so he learns to share his toys and other people attention with other kids. Here are some pics from this weekend.

Christmas
What a fun Christmas! Lucas got spoiled of course but he deserves it, he is such a good boy. We went to Grandma & Papa's house on Christmas Eve. We went to mass (Lucas was fantastic and so quiet) and then back home to open presents. Lucas ripped open each one and got more and more excited when he saw all the wrapping paper. He did try to eat it but I took it away...believe me, he doesn't need anymore fiber in his diet. Grandma and Papa gave Lucas his life time hunting license. I just hope he likes to hunt and fish when he gets older. Aunt Tasha gave him clothes which he needs. The kid is so stylish! Dylan and Trystan gave him toys. We left there with a car full and toys going off with every bump!
Christmas morning was relaxing. Our very first Christmas as a family and Ray's & mine first one at our house (it's only been 7 years). We took a few pictures of Lucas in the morning opening his presents and trying to steal Santa's cookies...

Later we went to Grandma & Grandma Taylor's. We had a nice breakfast and opened all our presents over there. By this time Lucas was getting tired of all the unwrapping so Momma had to do it. Aunt Karen made him a beautiful quilt. Uncle Greg and Aunt Barb (mostly Uncle Greg) got him his first BB gun and a four wheeler. Yeah...I think he is a little young but it was just a matter of time!

Halloween

It's been awhile since we posted anything. Lucas had a great first Halloween. He was a moose (some people might say reindeer). It was such a warm day the outfit didn't stay on long. Our first stop was Grandma & Grandpa Taylor's. Grandma gave him money instead of candy (I'm sure when he is older he'll use that money to buy his own candy). Next stop was Grandma & Papa's. Everyone had treats for him. He got a Christmas ornament from Aunt Tasha (jumping the gun a little) and Bible stories from Grandma & Papa. Mom was really hoping for candy from someone!! Next we went to Samantha & Francis' to see their new house (it's beautiful by the way) then to Linda's for dinner. What a great meal...Shepard's pie, yummmm-o. Mom had a lot of cider but then was reminded of what it could do to Lucas so I had to stop! Not more than 2 minutes later it must have some how kicked and we had to have an outfit change...yes both of us!! Oh what a memorable Halloween! Our last stop was Uncle Greg & Aunt Barb's. No treats there, just tricks. Daddy wanted to go out drinking but had to be reminded that he is a dad now and has responsiblities, Uncle Greg is a bad influence.

First Shots
What a brave boy Lucas was today. He had his 2 month well baby visit (even though he is almost 3 months) and his shots. He was so happy on the table waiting for the doctor and talking with mommy. The nurse was quick with his shots but that didn't help, he still cried and almost made momma cry. It didn't last long and he was asleep in his carseat. He was back to smiling and kicking in no time. He did have a little cranky period but after a good rest with mommy he was back to himself. Next round...November 9th! Oh...he now weighs 12lb 7oz and is 22 1/2 inches long!!

Meeting Family and Going to My First Wedding!
We had a busy Saturday and a busy week actually. Tuesday Granma and Papa left for California & Vegas. Cousin Stephanie got married this weekend. We are sad that we couldn't be there in person but we were there in spirit. We miss Granma and Papa but they said they will be visiting as SOON as they get home. Aunt Tasha, Dylan and Trystan took Lucas for the day Friday. Lucas had a lot of fun with his cousins, Trystan even took a few naps with him! Saturday we got up early and headed up to Champlain to meet Pepe the Bum for the first time. Of course Pepe was having a yard sale and tried giving Lucas stuff (we managed only to take a sleeping Santa toy). We spent a few hours with Meme, Pepe and Aunt Darlene before heading to Aunt Joan's and Uncle Cliff's wedding. What a nice wedding. It was a beautiful Hawaiian theme. Lucas got to meet more family...Aunt Missy, Uncle Brian (which was a surprise), Justin, Joe, Laura, James, Avis, Barb, Cindy, and so many more! We didn't stay long at the wedding, it was soooo hot! Better than rainy though. We headed home after our long day and found out that we won't be going to Buffalo after all...too long of a drive for Mr. Magoocas!!
