Meeting Family and Going to My First Wedding!
We had a busy Saturday and a busy week actually. Tuesday Granma and Papa left for California & Vegas. Cousin Stephanie got married this weekend. We are sad that we couldn't be there in person but we were there in spirit. We miss Granma and Papa but they said they will be visiting as SOON as they get home. Aunt Tasha, Dylan and Trystan took Lucas for the day Friday. Lucas had a lot of fun with his cousins, Trystan even took a few naps with him! Saturday we got up early and headed up to Champlain to meet Pepe the Bum for the first time. Of course Pepe was having a yard sale and tried giving Lucas stuff (we managed only to take a sleeping Santa toy). We spent a few hours with Meme, Pepe and Aunt Darlene before heading to Aunt Joan's and Uncle Cliff's wedding. What a nice wedding. It was a beautiful Hawaiian theme. Lucas got to meet more family...Aunt Missy, Uncle Brian (which was a surprise), Justin, Joe, Laura, James, Avis, Barb, Cindy, and so many more! We didn't stay long at the wedding, it was soooo hot! Better than rainy though. We headed home after our long day and found out that we won't be going to Buffalo after all...too long of a drive for Mr. Magoocas!!

Baptism
Saturday was Lucas's baptism. It was a beautiful day. He was all smiles in the morning even though the day before he was up ALL day long. He was nosey and didn't want to miss us getting everything ready for his first big party. Aunt Tasha came over early to get her new Godson ready. Uncle Matty Balls and Aunt Ferfee stopped by too and we all headed to the church for some pictures. Aunt Chris, Uncle Rick and Jessica were there waiting for us when we got there. We took a ton of pictures and everyone was there. Aunt Darlene and Great Meme made the trip down from the North Country too! Lucas shared his baptism with two little girls and their families. Father Tom Morrette officiated the ceremony. After taking a TON of pictures we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Taylor's house for a picnic with everyone. We had a wonderful time and the weather was absolutely beautiful. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us.

Back to work

Well, I guess it had to end sometime. I started back to work on July 30 (a 6:00 day of all days!). Both Lucas and I have to work on our morning routine but we'll get the hang of it I'm sure. He still isn't sleeping through the night and gets up just about every two hours to eat but I guess that is one of the many joys of having a newborn baby!! Ray has helped making the transition back to work an easy one and getting up with Lucas when he can (when he is fussy and doesn't need to be fed) and at night when I need to get ready for the next day. Grandma absolutely loves seeing her little guy every day and is already spoiling him with toys galore! As long as they stay at her house I'm fine with it. Aunt Karen, Kari, Thor and Billy I guess enjoy his toys too!! Since Lucas is going to Grandma's everyday I'm a lot more at ease than if he had to go to daycare...at least I know he'll be loved and I'm sure when he gets a little older (and potty trained) Papa George will be stealing him for a few hours.
