Well...3 weeks early Lucas decided to join our family. My water broke around 11:30pm June 17. I had no idea what was happening but an hour later I was waking up Ray to drive me down to the hospital. They ran some tests and my water definitely broke! I got to rest for the night and at around 9am they induced me. Contractions started to get worse (at least for me) a few hours later so they gave me a epidural. I got to sleep...probably the last time I got to! Around 6:30 pm Lucas wanted to come out and the doctor was no place to be found! I tried to wait but Lucas didn't want to and wanted out. About 3 pushes he was out and put right on my chest. He was (and still is) absolutely beautiful!
